Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere L130 front Axle, roller bearings, metal pipe

Question
I have a John Deere L130 I am in the process of replacing both front spindles, my question is does John Deere have any spindles I can get to fit on my L130 to make it have bolt on wheels instead of the usual E-clip front wheel?  I go through 2 sets of bushing on the front wheels each year and now need spindles replaced, thought a Bolt on wheel with bearings would help my problem.  Thank you.

Answer
I have not seen any bolt on wheel kits but you make be able to install roller type bearings in your current wheels.  Check around  your local area for a bearing supplier.  A good bearing supplier may have some bearings on had to fit your application.  You may have to make an internal spacer out of tubing or metal pipe and also install some washers to shim the wheel to keep the bearings snug.  While not perfect, the roller bearings should provide a much longer service life.

You could also source bearings on the internet if you can't find a bearing supplier in your area.

Let me know if this helps.
