Question
QUESTION: I have an Arien 5520 snowblower and the engine froze. I can not find a replacement engine.any ideas?  Thanks, Jim

ANSWER: Hello Jim:

>>Usually Any OEM (Briggs, Tecumseh, Kohler, ect) will Work as a Replacement Engine as long as the Crankshaft Length, Diameter and Keyway are the Same, The HP is within 2HP of the Old Engine, the Throttle Controls are the Same of Close enough to be McGuivered to Operate Correctly and as Long as the Mounting Holes Match.
>>Send me the Engine Model Numbers, Please and I can use the Engine Cross Reference to Locate Several Different Engine Models that will Replace the Old Engine.
>>You can Purchase a Replacement Engine from this Site Addy; http://www.tulsaenginewarehouse.com/Catalog and Select Engines from the Menu.

QUESTION: John,  Thank you for your responce. My tecumseh engine # is LH195SA {HSSK50-55]-  67519D.  God bless,  Jim

Answer
Hello Again Jim:

>>This is a Standard 5HP Horizontal Shaft Engine (commonly used on Tillers, Walk Behind Blowers and Vacs, Walk Behind Edgers and Go-Carts).
>>Any Horizontal Shaft Engine (Briggs & Stratton, Tecumseh or even a Honda Engines with the Correct Crankshaft Keyway, ect) will Exchange with this Engine.
>>Most Small Engine Service Centers will have Used or Rebuilt Engines that Customers can Purchase for about 1/2 Price of a New Engine.
>>If you Require Certain Replacement Engine Model Numbers, then
>>I Require you to Choose a Manufacturer (Briggs, Tecumseh, ect) because the Replacement List of Engines from each OEM for this Engine is Rather Long.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL at this Site Addy,
http://www.emerichsales.com/ and Select Tecumseh Power Company in the Drop Down Under "Parts Lookup" at the Left of the Page. Now Fill Out the OEM Part Diagrams Look Up by Model Fit.
>>As Always, If you Hit a Snag, have More Questions or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
