Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere Snow Thrower Model 320, john deere snow thrower, old john deere

Question
Hi - I've inherited an old John Deere snow thrower that my father in law purchased in 1981.  The engine still works great. However, the blade housing has loosened up and is wobbly.  I'm sure all the parts are out of production by now - but do you think there's any hope of getting this problem fixed?  Maybe a part from a newer model might work?  Thanks for your time!

Answer
Hello Adam:

>>You Might be Surprised to Know that the Parts May Still be Avaliable.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers 320 and Click Find. Then Select your Model from the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. *You can Drag the View Windows for Better Viewing.*
>>This Model has the Frame and Impeller Housing Held together with Bolts and Locking Nuts.
>>If the Locking Nuts and Bolts are Not Damaged, then
>>Tightening them should Stop the Shaking of the Frame and Impeller Housing.
>>I Searched the JD Site and Located the Parts for this Unit and All the Parts I Looked Up for this Unit are Supposed to be Avaliable According to the Site.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
