Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Replace Auger - Craftsman 536881750, snow blowers, output shaft

Question
Good afternoon Mr. Bridges.  I was following your conversation back on 11/02/2008 about how to replace LH side auger on my snow blowers - Craftsman 536881750.  I did check the diagrams and parts list on the Sears web in order to order the correct part.  On your previous conversation (with Doug)can't see the answers on how to replace it.  Can you please if posible help me. I'm also a novice myself so details will help a lot.  Thank you very much.

Answer
Hello Santiago:

>>If you Use the Breakdown at the Sears Site as a Guide to Disassemble and Assemble the Unit, I can Amswer Any Questions you May have During the Repair Process.
>>I am Working on some Instruction Files and I will Include an Instruction File on this Style Snow Thrower.
>>I Usually Unbolt the Gearbox from the Impeller Drive and Unbolt the Auger Bearings (Located at the Outer End of the Augers) and Slide the Whole Assy Out of the Auger Housing and then Remove the Shear Bolt/Pin from the Gearbox Output Shaft for the Auger you are Replacing and Slide the Old Auger Off the Output Shaft of the Gearbox and Replace it with the New One.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
