Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): briggs and Stratton Engine, briggs and stratton, motor numbers

My neighbor asked me to write;  He has found an old Craftsman Snow Blower, with all of the parts.  The Briggs and Stratton engine will not fire and has decided that the coil is bad. Where can he find such and item?                                    Motor numbers are: 81252-948546-6206202
Model No; 536-82170

You will need the model, type and Code of the engine before I can help you further.  The numbers will be located stamped in the housing, or on a tag attached to the blower housing.  They will look something like this...  MODEL 135502 Type 0124-e2 Code 98331025

You will be able to get the parts at any small engine dealer once you have this information.

Make sure you arent missing the plastic key from the control panel.  This will cause a NO FIRE condition as well.
