Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): choke problem, huskee snow blower, thanks in advance

Question
Hello---
I have a 8hp Tecumseh motor on a Huskee snow blower.  It takes quite a little cranking to get the blower started and once it is started the only way it runs is with the choke in the "full" position.  When you try to shut the choke off or even move it to the middle setting, the engine will not continue to run.  Is this just an adjustment that needs to be made or something else.
Thanks in advance for all your help!!!

Answer
Ryan,

The symptom you describe is caused by a plugged jet or passage in the carb  a good cleaning ought to take care of your problem.  Check this video for more information.
