ANSWER: The enigne code number (Briggs engine) or the engine serial number (Tecumseh) engine, will help narrow down the age of the blower.

AMF parts can be difficult, if not impossible to find these days.  However, many parts, such as bearing, skids, belts, engine parts can be found at most "good" snowblower/small engine shops.  Many other manufacture parts will either bolt directly on or will bolt on with minimum modification.

Are you looking for a specific part?  Send me the engine model, type, and code/serial number along with a picture and I will try to help identify the year.

QUESTION: how can i find out the snow blowers age ???????????????

Answer
If you have a Briggs engine, the first two digits of the code number is the year.  The link below describes the code number break out; bottom of the webpage.

If you have a Tecumseh engine, the first digit of the serial number is the year.  Refer to the link below for Tecumseh engine identification break out; see page 2

If you attach a picture I may be able  to roughly tell the blowers age.
