Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): gear problem, friction wheel, clutch adjustment

Hello,when i select a gear on my sr140 ride on,it will not move,it sounds like it is trying to but there is no movement.
Is this something i can recify myself with an adjustment,or is this more serious?

Is your model number 3312513BE?  The model number is located on the Snapper sticker which is usually placed on the rear of the mower near the engine.

Have you ever replaced the friction disc or adjusted the clutch?

Let me know the condition of the friction wheel and if the clutch adjustment solves your problem.
