Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): kohler m20s, blown head gasket, leakdown tester

Hi I have a older terramite with a m20s motor and today it started to blow oil up in to the carb, air filter holder any advice would help other than that it has always ran great ??? thanks

I would say this is either a engine wear problem, allowing compression by the piston rings into the crankase and up through the breather, or a blown head gasket allowing compression from cylinder through lifter area into crankase. Either way you need a leakdown tester to diagnose this problem correctly.
