QuestionQUESTION: No matter what I do I can't get the engine to idle with the choke off. It shuts off immediately when I close it. Its been thoroughly cleaned twice and checked by a local mechanic.I'm wondering if the butterflies have been tinkered with previously. My choke butterfly is a semi circle with a small hole on the right and the throttle butterfly is a full circle with a small hole on the left.
is this the proper configuration ?

QUESTION: I just want to be more clear on the holes in the butterflies.
With the throttle side facing me and both butterflies shut, I
can see directly through the carb. through those little holes.
