Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): husky 137e chainsaw, gas mixture, air leak

have husquavarna 137e saw put new carb on, still only fires then dies, have plenty of fuel, spark, air, could it be the gas mixture?

Yes could be a fuel problem, possibly old or stale fuel, another thing is you could have an air leak from the carburetor boot/adapter, crankshaft seals, or anywhere else air can get in. I would definitely start with fresh fuel before going any farther
