Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Dixon Mower idler spring, dixon ztr, grass bagger

Question
I have a 1990 Dixon ZTR428 mower.  The mower deck drive belt broke. It knocked loose the idler pulley tension spring. I see where the spring attaches by the idler pulley, but I cannot figure out where it attaches on the other end of the spring. Can you help me out?

Answer
Hello Lon:

>>You can View a Breakdown of this Unit at this Site Addy; http://www.dixon-ztr.com/ and Select Service and Support at the Top of the Page.  Enter the Model Number into the Search Box Provided and Select the manual you wish to View (Parts Manual for IPL/Breakdown). Now Select the Manual for your Unit.
>>I require the Following Information in Order to Locate the Correct Manuals for this Unit: Example:
2009-8-20, SPEEDZTR 36 GRASS BAGGER, 966004301
>>However, Some of the Units have a Slot in the Cutter Deck that 1 End of the Tension Spring Connects to and the Other End Connects to the Idler Arm to Tighten the Spring.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
