QUESTION: hi John I have never found a carb kit for my mac cat saw so I
started working on my homelite super 2 and it only runs on
choke and not very well it ran good cut it off the next
morning wouldn't run at all what is it with these saws anymore

Answer
Hello Again Jacob:

>>Thanks to the "All Mighty Dollar, Yen, Pound and ect", there is No Longer any Quality in Merchandice.
>>Everything that is Manufactured Nowadays is Designed to be Throwaway.
>>I Purchased a New Saw in September 2009 and in July 2010 the Coil went bad.
>>In Less than a Year the Coil is No Longer Avaliable and if it was the Cost of the New Coil was More than what the Saw Cost Brand New.
>>What does that Tell you about Equipment and Parts to Repair them?
>>Gas is also a Problem.
>>The Ehtinol that is being Put in the Gas Draws Water and also Cuts Down on the Octaine.
>>This Causes Lower Gas Mileage in Automobile Engines and causes the Rubber Components in Lawn Equipment Engines to Go Bad in a Couple of Years.
>>We are in the Age of "Money Means Everything and Quality Means Nothing".
>>Most Likely, from your Description it Sounds like the Carburetor Requires Soaking and Cleaning and a New Carburetor Kit.
>>I Require the OEM (Walbro, Zama, ect) and the Model Numbers Off the Carburetor/s. With these I can Locate a Breakdown of the Carburetor and Better Assist you.
>>Sometimes you can get a Carburetor Kit from the Carburetor Manufacturer when it is Not Avaliable from the Equipment Manufacturer.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Carburetor and Get Technical Information on Zama Carburetors at this Site Addy; http://www.zamacarb.com/tips.html and Select the Technical Guide.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Carburetor at this Site Addy, http://www.walbro.com/ and Select Service & Aftermarket. Now Select Aftermarket Parts and Service. Now Select the OEM (Ryobi, Sears, ect). Now Select Trimmer. Now Select your Carburetor (WT-340, ect) from the List Provided.
>>As Always, If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
