Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): wringschematic, wiring diagrams, thanks for your help

QUESTION: Have a mower that someone attempted to steal ignition wires were cut. I need to replace the switch but can not find a schematic i looked on the troybilt site but a schematic is not shown my model is not shown. 13an77tg766 model year 2006. in advance thanks for your help

ANSWER: Here is a basic wiring schematic that will get the mower started:

You can call MTD and they are usually pretty good about sending you specific diagrams.  Just explain what happened and I'm sure they can email your specific diagram.

I'd liked to have sent you the exact diagram, but like you said, being Friday that is pretty challenging.  The general wiring diagrams will let you get the mower running this weekend.
