HI: With a new carb kit, a through? internal carb cleaning, I still cannot get the engine to run on it's own, it will w/ a slight shot of ether. What do you think? T/Y very much- Greg

Is the diaphram pump spring and cup in the correct location?  Is the valve breather clean?  How old is the engine?
