Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): belt self propelled mower, self propelled mower, mower deck

We have craftsman self propelled mower.  The drive belt
slipped and is wedged in the housing.  The belt needs to be
removed. How can I remove the belt so I can install a new one.

I need the Sears mower model number located on the Sears sticker.  The sticker is about the size of a business carb and usually on the real of the mower deck and will have a format similar to xxx.xxxxx or xxx-xxxxxx.
