Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Stihl FS55 trimmer, stihl fs55, spark coil

My Stihl FS55 trimmer is not getting spark, new plug, new coil...still no spark. Coil shows 4.3M ohms resistance between terminal and ground. Any ideas?

Is the on/off switch broke?  If you disconnect the small wire connected to the coil do you have spark?  If so the coil is good.  If no spark, let me know.

How old is the trimmer?  We rarely have any bad coils and we sell a lot of FS55 units.
