Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): fuel leaks, fuel leaks, gas tanks

Question
Hi,I have a gas power blower, and a black and decker gas powered powerwasher. They will start or run, but they both leaks a lot of fuel into the air filter then on the grownd to the point where it empties the gas tanks.  Its like they both leak from the carb.  They did sit unused for a couple of years.  Hou can I fix the problem?  Are there certain part replacements like gaskets I could seal them up with?

What is happening is the float is not closing the port that allows fuel to be delivered to the carb. This would be for 4 cycle carbs. Now on blowers, trimmers.chainsaws and other small 2 cycle equipment. This type normally has a diaphragm and that probably cracked due to sitting a few years. You wood need to rebuild the carburetors. We sell rebuild kits for both on our web site www.gbelect.net if you cant find them on there e-mail us and we will help you find the parts.
