Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Add a fuel pump in place of gravity feed, briggs and stratton, model type

Question
I just installed a B&S 14.5 horse 287707 engine in a Deere 112L.  Since the fuel tank is under the seat I need a fuel pump and the Briggs doesn't have one.  I have a vacuum pulse driven pump, but the Briggs doesn't have a vacuum port.  I'm looking for where to put one in or is there a part available that adds one?  The Kawasaki that came off had a port in the block, but I'd rather not have to open the case.  I was thinking about tapping into the manifold after the carb (like I would on a car), but I'm not sure it would pull enough vacuum.  I've seen a couple people mention a "breather assembly."  I think it's a valve cover, but I can't find it referenced to my engine, just the 12.5 horse.  Thanks

Answer
Yes you can add a fuel pump and there is a breather cover assy avail for your engine to do this.  Simply take your model type and code number to a Briggs and stratton dealer and they can get the part for you.  If you have difficulty, please send me a followup with the information requested and I will get you a part number for it.  Please tell me where in the USA you are located so I can refer you to a source as well.
