Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): PTO, jd dealer, clutch

Question
Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): PTO, jd dealer, clutch
pto
How do i remove the pto clutch coil from a Deere lx280? On the parts drawing it appears to just slide onto the end of the crank with a through bolt to hold the assembly in place. The attached image is the way I found the pto after my wife told me it's making a funny noise and quit cutting.

There is supposed to be a bolt and a washer holding the clutch on.  It appears to be missing.  Go to your local JD dealer and get the bolt and washer and you should be good to go.

Usually when the bolt and washer are removed the clutch slides right off
