Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kohler 25 cvs 730 charging question, bridge rectifier, hp kohler

I am very capable and this question is not asked lightly. I have a friends 25 Hp kohler Cvs 730 here that will not charge. i replaced the stator, its was damaged ( apparently build up of dirt whatever under flywheel) all magnets intact. I assumed that it was a easy fix. However, no luck. and the only diodes I can find are fine. I still have no AC voltage out of stator well actually I say none, ( 1.0-.7....which is no where ner specs.......any advice would be grateful.

Have you checked the voltage regulator? Also the Bridge rectifier

If it Will Not Charge Check the following.

Rectifier-regulator failed
Rectifier-regulator not grounded
Flywheel magnet not charged
Fuse blown or circuit breaker open
