Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda Harmony 1011, transmission pulley, broken shaft

Question
I have a Honda Harmony 1011 that is probably about 15 years old.  While mowing recently, it just quit (not the engine, but power to the rear axle won't do anything).  The engine seems to run fine, as well as the blade, but it won't do anything no matter what gear I am in (reverse, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).  Any thoughts?

Hello Bryan:

>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL at this Site Addy,
http://www.emerichsales.com/ and Select Honda in the Drop Down Under "Parts Look Up" at the Left of the Page. Now Fill Out the "OEM Part Diagrams Look Up by Model Fit" Section.
>>Select the "Transmission Pulley" File.
>>Have you Checked the Belt and Pulleys?
>>Is the Belt Good and On All the Pulleys and Idlers?
>>If Yes, then
>>Is the Input Shaft Turning when you Turn the Input Shaft Pulley by Hand? Watch the Center of the Pulley.
>>Is the Pulley Turning on the Shaft or is it Turning the Shaft as Designed.
>>If the Pulley is Turning, but Not the Shaft, then
>>The Key (Depending on the Model or Splines) May be Damaged and Require Replacing (if Splines, the Input Shaft has to be Replaced).
>>If the Input Shaft is Turning with the Pulley as Designed, then
>>There is an Internal Problem with the Transmission.
>>Depending on the Transmission Model, it May be a Broken Chain, a Sheared Key or a Broken Shaft or Gear.
>>On the Transaxle is an OEM Identification Plate. Send me the Information Off of This Plate, Please. With this Information, I can Locate the Proper Manuals and Better Assist You.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
