I have a very similar question to the one Josh posted on May 6/10 for his Honda Harmony HRB215 mower. Unfortunately, he never provided you with the numbers off of his mower so the question hasn't been answered. I did look at the schematics on the Emerich site that you referred to, but they don't show the cable.
The clutch cable on our Honda HRA215SX lawnmower [Canadian model?] (S/N MZAL-6057513) snapped very close to the transmission. We purchased a new cable from Honda (P/N 54510-VA3-J04) and thought it would be an easy install job (clevis at end of cable just fitting into the end of an engaging lever on the transmission. However, when we opened up the plastic access panel on the left rear of the mower (and scooped all of the grass-clippings out), we found that, although we can feel holes with 'slits' above and below the vertical cable spring on the front of the transmission, we aren't sure of the easiest way to get a clear view and access to this area of the transmission. As you had so kindly offered for Josh, can you provide a schematic of the clutch cable connection to the transmission and instructions on how to gain access. Thanks in advance for being there to help 'clutzes' like us.
