Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): mower blades stopping and motor cutting out, mower blades, rough terrain

jd gt 235 constantly stops mowing and/or stalls, any ideas?  is it the seat switch?

Yuppers.... The seat switch on this tractor series is very sensitive, especially if your petite.  It is most noticible when on side hills and rough terrain.

The switch is removable.   Remove it and clean it good with electric contact cleaner.  This should help somewhat.  Otherwise, simply change it.  The swithc is about 15 bucks...
