Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): spark ign. without the lawn tractor, fire fuel, battery ignition

Question
I have a B&S 17HP OHV engine model311707 type0132-E1 (without the tractor) and I want to start it. What do I need to hook up to  the wire from the coil and the black wire in the same connector as the alternator wire? Is there an ign. module in the tractor?

Answer
You are a TOTAL IDIOT!  ITS MORONS LIKE YOU that make us volunteers not want to offer free advice and participate on this board.

I asked you a simple follow up question (" Is this engine equipped with a anti fire fuel solenoid on the bottom of the carb?  Get back to me and i can tell you how to do this") within hours of posting the question

Not that I owe you an explanation BUTTHEAD, but if there is an electric anti fire fuel solenoid on the bottom of the carb it has to be wired into your temporary battery/ignition...BECAUSE without power to it -fuel will NOT FLOW to the carb! and the engine will not start!  Get it..BUTT WIPE!!!

So hope this helps!  I would have given you a wire diagram and step by step instructions if you would have only answered my follow up question!

PS...Get your info somewhere else!!!!!!!
