Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftman riding mower shifter stuck, proper manuals, rubber hammer

Question
This question is similiar to one a guy named garrett asked. The blades engage and everything else is workin fine. I recently had the body off and I got the shifter to go into all the gears by hitting the plate I guess you would call it with a rubber hammer but when I put it all back together the shifter still wouldn't move and I tried to lubricate everything I could, but it's still stuck.

Answer
Hello Jason:

>>From your Description it Sounds like the Shift Keys Inside the Transaxle are Worn and Require Replacing.
>>You should Not Require a Hammer of Any Kind to Move the Shift Lever at the Transaxle.
>>For Better Assistance, Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Model Numbers are Usually Located Under the Seat (Ride On Mowers) on a Sticker or Tag on the Body.
>>On the Transaxle is an OEM Identification Plate. Send me the Information Off of This Plate, Please. With this Information, I can Locate the Proper Manuals and Better Assist You.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
