Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 21cc string trimmer, spark plug wire, center screw

Question
Hello John, Have a craftsman 21cc weed whacker. My dilemna is that the fuel lines rotted and fell off there connections. So i have the 2 new fuel lines one small one large. My ? is do I connect the small line from the tank to the primer bulb, and then from the bulb to the carb? Does it matter which inlet to connect to on the primer bulb?. Then does the larger tube route from the carb to the tank and then insert into the ful filter in the tank?.Also there was a small white plastic connector in the gas tank with fuel filter does this connect to the smaller return tube, and is it supposed to be inside the tank? Thank you! Bill S

Answer
Hello Bill:

>>THINK SAFETY: Always Remove the Spark Plug Wire/s from the Spark Plug/s and Tie Away from the Spark before Working on Any Small Engine unless the Plug/s must be Connected to the Coil/s for Diagnostic Reasons.
>>The Line are Attached as Follows;
>>Large Line from Tank Filter to the Inlet Port Located at the Carburetor Plate that has the Large Center Screw.
>>Large Line from Carburetor Port that is Located Nearest the Carburetor Plate with 4 Small Screws to the Primer and Small Line from Primer to the Tank. **Sometimes the Small Line is Used from Plate with 4 Screws to the Primer and From Primer to the Tank.**
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
