Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda autochoke release system, ohc engine, plastic filter

Question
how can i find out how to fix a 160cc honda ohc engine with the autochoke release system? i have tried to find this engine on honda`s website with no luck. engine is on a 1 yr old troybilt 542 self propelled xp mower. i mowed with it last week, had some trouble starting it so i drained the gas from the tank and fuel bowl, refilled it with  fresh fuel and it started and ran good. i shut it down and turned off the gas valve. i tried to mow with it today and couldn`t get it started. when i turned on the fuel valve and tried to pull start it, the fuel just ran out of the carb. i changed the plug and tried again, this time it back fired and caught fire! burned the plastic filter houseing off before i could get it out! i know that there are other people out there with this problem. can you help? thanks for your time. just telling me it is a 160 cc Honda does not help me at all.But I will try to answer this What it sounds like you have a float problem it is not seating to stop the flow of gas in to the bowl when it is full. You need to rebuild the carburetor because there may be dirt in the seat assembly.
