Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere 757 switch problem?, john deere 757, switch problem

Question
I have 2005 John Deere 757 mower. That has started to just stop running when in use. It can run fine for a little while, then just stop running. I used it Monday, got it going then died. Restarted it then when releasing the brake died again. Went to the dealer and bought new seat and brake switch. Now problem was worse. Put old switches back on and now mower starts and when levers are brought in, it will die. Any help.
Thanks,
Gary

Answer
Hello Gary:

>>Did you Check the Control Lever Interlock Switch.
>>From your Description it Sounds like the Control Lever Interlock is Bad or has a Bad Connection.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers 757 and Click Find. Then Select your Model from the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. *You can Drag the View Windows for Better Viewing.*
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
