Hi John.
What is the easiest way to get to the crankcase vent on my engine?
I had a guy give me a new carburetor today....and still got gas in the air filter. So I have to get to the bottom of this.
The breather was visible on my old Briggs....but on this one I got to find it.Today it started fine....but white smoke and it seemed like the muffler was getting hot. Thanks for quick responses John.

Answer
Hi James:

>>From your Description it Sounds like the Carburetor Needle Valve is Not Seating Correctly and is Flooding the Engine and Crankcase with Gas.
>>The White Smoke and Hot Muffler are a Sure Sign of this Happening.
>>Change the Crankcase Oil.
>>Follow the Breather Tube from the Valve Cover. The Breather is Located at 1 End of this Tube.
>>As Always, If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
