Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): throttle linkage(s), craftsman eager 1, throttle linkage

Question
Have a Sears mower Craftsman Eager 1 model 917 386 140 with engine 5 H. P., model 143.965002. Yes indeed, I lost hookup points for the two linkages after replacing carburetor. A photo would really help or specific instructions. Thanks

Answer
Hello Norm:

>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers 143.965002. Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing.
>>Using the Breakdown; The Linkage #207 Attaches to the Governor Control Arm (usually the Lower Hole. If the Unit is Not New, you can See the Wear Mark in the Hole where it is Supposed to Fit) and the Carburetor Throttle Control Valve (the Flat Plate on the Throttle Control Valve).
>>The Linkage #186 Attaches to the Throttle Control Bracket and the Other End should have a Spring that Attaches to Top Hole in the Governor Control Arm. **The Spring that Attaches to this Linkage is Shown as #19 in the Breakdown.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
