Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda 5.5 hp idling problem, honda engines, spec numbers

Question
I read the questions and answers on a guy named bob that had tried cleaning and cleaning the carburetor and still could not get the engine to stop idling up and down not being under a load. i was wondering if he tried cleaning the carb for a third time and it worked? or did he buy a new carb? because i am up the same tree with the 2 of the exact same engines doing that exact same thing and i have tried everything bob tried. just curious to find out what worked.
Thanks,
 Andrew

Answer
Hello Andrew:

>>This is Why I like to get Comments from the Questioners.
>>Usually the Comments will Provide an Insight to the Final Outcome and Assist Other Questioners.
>>I have Searched for Comments, Follow Up Questions and Ratings for "Bob" and Located the Question, but No Comments or Ratings.
>>This can be a Timing Belt Problem (on some Honda Engines), a Valve Problem (usually the Clearances Require Setting) or a Gasket Leak.
>>Send me the Model, Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine or the Unit/Mower Model Numbers, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Engine Model Numbers May be Stamped Into the Blower Housing (metal engine cover) Above the Spark Plug. The Unit/Mower Model Numbers are Usually Located Under the Seat on a Sticker on the Body of the Mower.
