Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Troybilt Rideing mower will not engage in forward or reverse, briggs stratton engine, briggs stratton

My riding mower troybilt Super Bronco  42" cut 15hp briggs stratton engine will not engage in forward or reverse.  It appears that it will not engage at the rear axle.  Is there transmission fluid in the rear axle.  On the side of the mower it references automatic transmission.  I just had a pulley and belts replaced underneath.
