Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): PowerMax 6.5 HP small engine, question pool, specification numbers

Currently my husband and I are building a custom mini trike. A friend gave us a PowerMax 6.5 HP engine to use but none of us can figure out how to wire it? We have the manual but the wires dont match up so I dont believe its the correct one. I've looked online for a detailed wiring schematic for about 4 days now and nothing, I'm running out of time at this point. So if you know of somewhere I could download it or purchase it that would be great! OR if you know of a more popular engine that would have the same wiring schematics thats cool too, just something this is the final thing we have to do...its driving me nuts so thanks in advance for any help or advice!
