Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere X304, No spark due to safety cutoff., safety cutoff, brake safety

Question
Hello -

I am trouble shooting my 2008 JD X304 tractor that wont start (only 36 Hrs on the clock) ,  I have narrowed the problem down to something (safety switch?) causing the coil to be grounded,  i.e. disconnecting  the coil "kill wire' let the engine start fine.  I have verified the seat  and brake safety switches (w/ ohmmeter)  and both are fine.  Also verified the PTO switch on the dash,  it appears fine.  Is there another safety/interlock switch somewhere on this model that could cause the ground wire to the coils to be grounded?  I suspect something in the PTO because with the engine running (kill wire disconnected), the mower deck will not engage.  Manually routing 12VDC to the PTO  connector does cause the PTO to engage, so the clutch appears to be working.  Appreciate any help.  The tractor is under warranty, so if it turns out to be something other that a simple stuck switch,  I can take it to the dealer, but looking to avoid the hassle if it is a simple solution.

Thank You,
Scott

>>Sorry for the Delay. I have been Unable to Answer Questions Due to Health Issues. Thanks for Understanding.
Have you Checked the Harness for Areas that May have become Rubbed or Somehow Allowed a Safety Wire to Ground between the Switch and the Coil?
>>From your Description it Sounds like you have Covered All the Components that would Prevent the Coil from Firing.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I Hope to be Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
