Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): johndeer L110 lawnmower, starter solenoid, engine valves

Question
Hi John:  I read your answer to the reason my L110 wont start. Its as your other client explained. Stopped to do something, tried to start it again and it wouldnt start, just one click. Can you email me a picture of where I need to be looking.  I had a friend who knew Harleys and he looked at it and told me something was loose and he had it going in 5 minutes.  thanks.

Answer
Hello Lois:

>>If he had it Running in 5 Minutes, then a Battery Cable May have been Loose and Required Cleaning and Tightening.
>>Usually the cause of this Problem is a Loose Connection at 1 of the Safety Switches, a Bad Safety Switch or a Bad Starter Solenoid.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers L110 and Click Find. Then Select your Model from the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. *You can Drag the View Windows for Better Viewing.*
>>The Safety Switches and Solenoid are Shown in the Electrical File.
>>Other Possible causes (but are not that common) are: a Bad/Binding Starter, Starter Not Tightened to the Engine, Valves Require Adjusting or a Bad Engine Ground.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
