Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): placeing the Cam shaft in a Tecumseh engine, crank shaft, cam shaft

Question
I've got an H60-75389K on a John Deer 624 walk-behind tiller.  It broke the rod and I replaced it but in doing so I removed the Cam shaft and didn't take notice of how it was aligned with the crank shaft.  I've found a dot on a tooth of the crank gear but I don't see anything on the cam shaft.  Any Ideas would help greatly

Answer
Hello Carl:

>>There is a Mark (- or .) on the Crankshaft Gear Tooth and a Dot(.) between the Teeth on the Cam that have to be Matched for the Valve Timing to be Correct. Usually the Larger Dot is the Timing Mark.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
