Thanks for the response earlier regarding the BCM.  I have checked all the limit switches and all seems to be in order.  I did discover a reset button on the top of the BCM.  I don't know if this would help but do you know where I can the reset sequence?

I am trying to remember what was going on with the BCM.  Either the alarm was going off or you could not use the remote.  I think the latter.  Anyway, press the reset button and hold it for several seconds.  After you do that you should be able to program the keyfob.  If not then you have a bad BCM.
