Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 18.5 briggs & stratton, replacing a head gasket, briggs and stratton

QUESTION: I am replacing a head gasket and I have forgot to mark which of the push rods goes on top. I have one solid and one that feels like alum. Thanks for your Help.

>>The Steel Push Tube goes in the Exhaust Port and the Aluminum Push Tube goes in the Intake Port.
