Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda gx670, exhaust gasket, head gasket

Question
Here we go again.  A year later and I have another issue.  The engine runs great while it's cold. Not a puff of smoke anywhere.  Smooth as silk.  All of a sudden it gets warm and pours out white smoke (oil) and eventually fouls the plug.  It's isolated to the right hand cylinder so one would think its not the crankcase vent.  I can see oil seeping past the exhaust gasket on the header so it's getting a pretty good slug of oil. It doesn't sound logical that rings are broken -They would not seal ever.  Is it possible a bad head gasket could cause oil to enter the cylinder?  What would be most likely here?  Ever seen this happen on the Hondas?  I appreciate it.

Answer
Hello Spence:

>>From your Description it Sounds like a Worn Valve Guide or Worn Valve Stem.
>>This being an OHV Engine, it is Also Likely the Head Gasket is Seeping when the Engine Heats Up and Drawing Oil Around the Valves and Into the Compression Chamber.
>>Since this is a Honda, you can Use this Site Addy; http://www.honda-engines-eu.com/en/welcome.html and Select Spare Parts from the Drop Down Menu of the Service Tab.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
