Auto Parts: 96 tacoma brights wont dim, high beams, column switch

the headlights on my 96 Tacoma wont dim from high beams to normal, i can hear a click from the relay when i turn the steering column stick from park lights to head lights and fuse + wires all seem to check out ok on my circuit tester, does this model have a separate control/dimmer switch? are both or either located in the steering column?

Hi Jason,

The dimmer is part of the column-switch and is most likely the cause of your problem. You can buy them used or new. We sell used parts at Knucklebusters.

Have your vehicle properly tested before replacing items such as this. Electrical problems can have multiple causes.
