Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tecumseh HSSK50, oil level, snowblower

Question
We have a snowblower with a Tecumseh HSSK50 engine, It's leaks oil badly and was wondering if there is any common problems with that engine? It looks to me as if the leak is coming from under the engine.

sounds like a seal under the flywheel may be damaged  or a crankcase gasket could be damaged
the pto seal leak  you should be able to see   but thats still possible too

check the oil level in case it has wet sumped?



clean it off   dry it   run it again   take a look and note where and how oil comes out
the location will give you a  clue
