Can you get me started on How to replace a belt. After I bought the belt I realized it's not as easy as replacing one in a car.

If you visit Snapper's website you can find your manual.  Many of Snapper's manuals have directions on replacing the belt.  The model number is located on a sticker, about the size of a business card, usually mounted on the lower frame.
