Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): gx610 no spark, rocket science, spark plug

Question
I have a honda gx610. no spark right side. New coil on right side still no spark. engine stop diodes disconnected, still nothing. put new coil on left, it sparks. left coil on right, no spark. I am a tech and have done EVERYTHING imaginable. grounds and all, what am i missing this is not rocket science.

Answer
ON the Honda spark plug boots, you will find that you can unscrew a brass fitting inside the boot. Within this area, there should be a resistor and a spring. If one of these are not present, then the coil will have a very hard time firing, if it fires at all...
Check that out first. If that is fine, then i would suggest trying another coil. I have seen coils right out of the box be bad, but it is very rare.
