Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Greyhound small engines, harbor freight tools, engine reliability

I was curious to know who manufactures the Greyhound brand  small engines sold by Harbor Freight Tools.

Would you possibly have any info. on this small engine ? I searched using Google but I found no information.

Typically those engines are Chinese or Korean built products.  They work alright but there is not a lot of service information available.  You can usually use Honda parts for the "Honda look-alike" engines but as the engines are no where close to the actual Honda engine reliability.

Many contractors buy these enignes but when they stop running they just replace the whole engine with a new.  If you want an engine to last for years then spend the money on a better brand engine.
