Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snowblower Manual, rubber gaskets, speed issues

I have a Noma Grand Prix 8.5 Snowblower that I am trying to find a manual for. Model #GP825ET 9674. I hope you can help.

What can I do to improve the speed of the first stage of the snow blower - i.e. the fins that break up the snow and push/pull it into the second stage that throws it out of the shoot. I have already replaced the belt and tightened the tension but it hasn't improved?

HI Joe,

You should be able to find a manual for a similar type of machine, one that will have

specifications that are close enough to your machine, to make it useful.

As far as the question about the speed issues, I would say that you might need to clean the

carburetor and improve the workings of the engine.

Be careful when you overhaul the carb not to use any abrasive type cleaners since these can erode the

rubber gaskets inside the carb.
