Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): gas throttle, water sprayer, honda engine

Question
mr.jones,i have a 9hp honda engine i got off an industrial water sprayer, and i have mounted it on my two seater go cart, but now i,m having the time of my life trying to hookup my gas throttle, ihave no place to screw it to the engine,do you know of anyway else i may be able to fix this problem, discouragedin ga.!

Answer
You could drill a small hole on the engine shroud and use a clamp to hold the throttle cable.  Have you inspected the engine, near the carburetor butterfly or governor linkage, for holes that can be used to hold a throttle cable?

Did you remove the fixed speed throttle control that was used on the water sprayer?  I'm assuming you want an automotive style throttle control.
