Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): oil leaking out of carburetor, raw oil, breather tube

I have a robin 4cycle motor in my 2000 polaris xc120..runs fine after I turn ogg engine it leaks raw oil out of the carb..what would cause this?

I am not familiar with the polaris application of this engine, but I would be looking at the breather tube.  Is it icing up doing operation?  perhaps it ices up and after you shut the engine off it "drains down"  

IS the engine overfilled with oil?   Are the crankcase gaskets and o rings that hold the oil tube in place okay?  Or have they deteriorated and rotted?

Check your breather as well.  It should not be passing oil at all.
