Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda gx670, gas cap, fuel lines
QuestionI installed a new carb on this motor. When it runs at idle it's fine. All the way up throught the throttle it's fine. When it hits wide open it starts revving up and down on it's own. Any ideas.

The first thing we check is to make sure the gas cap is venting properly and there is no trash in the tank and that good fresh gas in the tank. Also check fuel lines to make sure they are open. Also check the spring on the governor arm. Hope this helps.
