Hi mate, I have a above engine & am wondering why when I went to start it she coughs up oil out of the carby (quite a lot sprayed out) She hasn't been going for a while maybe 6 mths, it normally throws some fuel up too until it goes & I put the air filter back on. As I normally use aerostart if it is a bit hard to get going. Any help would be appreciated.

 The problem you are describing indicates that the crankcase may be overfilled because of fuel in the oil. To correct this problem, the needle valve in the carb needs to be replaced. Also be sure and drain the crankcase and put in fresh oil. Also, while you have the carb apart, give it a good cleaning making sure all jets and ports are open. Hope this helps.
